I'm back with a another TUTORIAL.

I have been asked by 110 people about how to make the belts I sewed for my sons Easter gifts....okay maybe only 4 people. But anyways  if you wanna know how to make this:

Then attempt to follow this BELT TUTORIAL...which is almost, almost as bad as the last one! But I think you will get the drift of how to make one! There are many ways to make one...but I like mine...it is SO easy! I basically make a purse strap!!!! I know easy right?! Just think GIANT bias tape!

Supplies:

Fabric: cut to length you want and then the approx 3.5-4" wide stip depending on the belt loop width on your childs pants (thicker the material and sturdier the better, but I used flannel for one of the belts I made and it turned out JUST FINE)
To find out how wide you need the fabric: measure the width of the belt loop area on a pair of pants your child wears, times that width by two then add half an inch.

Two D-rings: can find them in the 'notions section' or 'purse making section'; of most craft/fabric stores...Walmart might even carry them.

sissors, iron and iron board, sewing machine

* fold over edges approx 1/4" each side

Then you are done you have the cutest self designed belt for under $4. I am making a ton to go with differnt outsits...it's so fun and a super dollar saver!

{MODERN kitchen with ViNtaGe decor}

I am really into moderinzed vintage. Especially in the kitchen. It's really neat when people take little true vintage items or vintage inspired items and add them to the current modern trendy kitchens. I love the modern kitchen BUT NOT the modern DECORATIONS...make sense?

I want to make a
HYBRID kitchen!

I LOVE THESE modern KITCHENS...

LOVE the black bar/island. I think bright vintage floral material on those barstoold would look great!
{HGTV}

Love the design with cabinets on one wall and bar on the other....breezeway kitchen.
{kitchenremodleides}

again love the layout....but the coldness...not so much.
{modern kitchen units}

Modern kitchens are cold (thats probally what makes them modern;)...I think modern kitchens are super beautiful when vintage is added!

This spice rack pictured above the stove in the photo below from Cottage Living. And those FANS...way cute and southern.

I love these chairs and the tin water pitcher. And all the colors.
{allyou}

Super cute! Love the 50's cafe look they are trying to pull off here...which they do a very nice job of it...straight bar with cookie and cake stands, great bar stools. AND TURQUISE appliances...I'm totally in love....but then put it in the clean, sleek  modern kitchen.
{costal living}

the wood and brick are beatiful in this modern mixed with vintage kitchen.
{Kdesign inspirations}

I love the simpleness of this kichen. The appliances are great! AND THOSE WINDOWS...WOW!

Very prarie! I'm adoring this green light.
{cottage living}

Like I mentioned before....I do not normally like vintage kitchens just vintage accents....
I like modern kitchens and modern equals BIG and functional....also simple.
BUT.... this kitchen I LOVE! It doesnt seem super pratical for me and my family...where would I put all my ugly dishes?????........but I LOVE it anyway!
I especially love the woodwork around the stoves and I really like the window and farm sink. I could def do without the light!
{southern accents}

These bar stools are really fun!
{costal living}

Love the bowl sink on the island and the glossy brick arch.

CAN YOU JUST ENVISION PRETTY VINATGE STUFF IN A MODERN KITCHEN?...now thats cool!
